The company presented three areas of line updating: compact inertial measurement module MS-21 micro, the variant MS-21 with GNSS and RTK for coastal sounding and navigation hydrographic system.

The new solutions are focused on unmanned systems, mobile mapping, autonomous vehicles, robotics, aviation and maritime platforms - applications where accuracy, reliability and fast response of navigation are important.

MS-21 micro: compact IMU

MS-21 micro — an inertial measurement module, aimed, in particular, at integration into UAVs. With dimensions of 60 × 50 × 62 mm and a weight of 250 g, its power consumption is about 2 W. The compact design is designed for systems with strict restrictions on size, weight and power consumption - SWaP.

According to the company, the new generation improves gyroscope bias stability, scale factor accuracy and long-term measurement repeatability. The developers associate these changes with the stability of characteristics during prolonged use and exposure to external factors.

Fast rotation. Fast response.

The declared angular velocity measurement range reaches ±4000°/s. The company's material compares it with the range of previous high-speed versions MS-21 and is called doubled.

The built-in three-axis magnetometer complements the accelerometers and gyroscopes: the module is a 9-axis measurement system. According to the developer, this was implemented without increasing the dimensions.

The delay between movement and information output is reduced to 1.5 ms, and the data transmission frequency reaches 1 kHz. This response is important for real-time navigation, stabilization and guidance loops.

Monitoring and integration

Built-in monitoring is designed to identify vibration sources, evaluate platform dynamics, verify mechanical design, and support qualification testing. It can also be used for troubleshooting during integration, testing and operation.

The company's announcement refers to the transition to a new patented hardware platform based on MEMS while maintaining the dimensions and integration principles of previous MS series devices. This allows us to consider upgrading existing systems without significant redesign.

MS-21 with GNSS and RTK: coastal surveying

Another area of updating is execution. MS-21, combining MRU, GNSS and RTK. In the company's material, it is focused on coastal sounding and working with multi-beam echo sounders.

This application links platform movement and orientation data with satellite navigation for hydrographic work.

Application in hydrography

From the module to the navigation complex

New developments complement each other: from a compact module for deep integration to full-fledged surface and underwater gyroscopic systems. The overall goal is trajectory accuracy, minimal latency and operation with limited satellite navigation availability.

To select a specific design, you need to take into account the platform, operating conditions, required measurements and on-board system interfaces.
